Crossgar's Norman Walsh was delighted when the judge Mrs. Rachael Bennett-Hamilton chose his foal “Ruby Echo” by Clover Echo out of Laughton's Diamond Imp as the Overall Champion Foal at Saintfield Show. The filly foal had already won the Non-Thoroughbred Foal Class and Norman's son Neil led the mare which took second place in the Lightweight Non-Thoroughbred Brood Mare class

David and Nicki Gregg from Saintfield had a successful day at Saintfield Show when Show judge Mrs. Rachael Bennett-Hamilton chose their Irish Draught mare Kerrins Ginger Mist as the Overall Reserve Champion Brood Mare. She was also the winner of the T.W. Scott (Fuels) Limited Perpetual Trophy for the Champion Irish Draught Mare in her class. Her foal Rockvale Roly's Spirit by the 2008 RDS Reserve Champion Cappa Cochise won his class and the Robert McBride Memorial Perpetual Cup for the Best Irish Draught Foal.
